Megan Gale is an Australian model, actress, and fashion designer, rose to fame after winning a modeling competition in her hometown of Perth at 18. Her breakthrough came in 1999 with a series of ads for Italian telecommunications company Omnitel, leading to widespread popularity in both Italy and Australia. Gale has appeared in numerous Italian films and shows and starred as Fatma in The Water Diviner (2014) and Valkyrie in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). She was a longtime ambassador for David Jones, whom she has recently rejoined as a Friend of the brand, and has modelled for major Italian designers. In 2005, she became the National Ambassador for Kids Help Line and later the first official National Ambassador for The Red Cross. Gale has also hosted Project Runway Australia and served as a judge on Australia's Next Top Model.
